In this lesson we reviewed a discursive piece Joab had written earlier this year, identified some key areas for improvement, and worked through an exemplar together so he could see what a strong discursive looks like in practice. Joab engaged well with the feedback and is thinking critically about how his current writing can be developed for his end-of-year exam and year 12. We also briefly touched on his upcoming poetry unit which we will explore more once he has his technique analysis materials from school. For homework, Joab is reflecting on whether his current discursive can be adapted for future assessments.
