Richard was very engaged today. To get an initial understanding of his level of math, I went through some preliminary algebraic equations. I noticed that Richard was unfamiliar with the difference of two squares, so I showed him the proof and then we went into application. After we did some factorising of quadratics which I showed him one of the techniques used. I look forward to our next lesson.
