Today's lesson focused on getting to know Richard's current English ability. He completed an analytical response to a passage, which allowed me to assess his writing skills. We then worked through his response together, focusing on how he could develop his arguments and explain evidence in greater depth to improve the quality of his writing. Overall, Richard has a solid foundation which can be strengthened through continued lessons.
