Who we're looking for
You don't need teaching experience. You need to have been excellent at the HSC and to be the kind of person a parent trusts with their kid.
- A strong ATAR and standout results in the subjects you want to tutor — you've sat the exact exams your students are facing.
- Currently at UNSW, USYD or UTS (or similar), so you genuinely know the content and remember what made it click.
- Reliable and organised. You turn up on time, prepare for sessions, and communicate clearly with students and parents.
- Great with students. Patient, encouraging, and able to explain a hard idea three different ways until it lands.
- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC), or willing to obtain one before your first session. It's a legal requirement and non-negotiable.
